If you’re searching for a unique gift to share with a loved one this Christmas, or simply want to avoid the crowds and shop in peace, we’ve got some very exciting news for you.

Skip the high street this December, and try shopping independent instead, with the return of the Trading Post Christmas marketplace. Popping up for the second time at Edinburgh’s Custom Lane on December 1st, Trading Post offers shoppers an alternative gifting experience to treasure.

Carefully curated by Custom Lane and Rogue Village, Trading Post is a design-led modern marketplace that features some of Scotland’s most exciting independent designers - the ideal spot to pick up some unique Christmas gifts, or to treat yourself post-payday, of course. You’ll be able to shop from brands, retailers and producers including Golden Hare Books, Instrmnt watches, Bon Tot children’s clothing, Solas Neon and Jorum fragrances, making it easier than ever to find stylish gifts for your loved ones that they’re sure to adore.

For the foodies among us, Custom Lane’s indoor food hall will also play host to a diverse range of producers from across the country, offering a wide variety of goodies that are perfect for gifting, or for stocking up your larder ahead of the festive season. Brands including Williams & Johnson Coffee Co., Sweetdram, Bostock Bakery and Ocelot chocolate will all be present, so you can try and buy the best of Scottish produce - there’s everything you could want for fabulously foodie festivities.

And it doesn’t stop there; shoppers can also enjoy a range of workshops for all ages during the market, to learn new skills or simply take some time out for themselves. Choose from activities including pottery classes, a mini yoga retreat, even an open-fire cooking class, plus lots more.

Trading Post will be at Custom Lane on 1st December, from 11am until 5pm. Entry price is £2, with under-16s going free.
